| I figure it's time to update my xanga.
I've been updating mostly in myspace...but I should really keep up with this too.
For entertainment, I have been playing a lot of guitar. Mostly jazz guitar and some blusey stuff. Very little indie, but I still keep some around. I've also been mountain biking through the Korean countryside with some friends here. I suppose for xanga, that's new....I'm in Korea. I've been listening to a lot of Pat Metheny.
Spiritually, this has been a blessing. The Lord has taught me many lessons so far, and will continue to do so I'm sure.

Those should be good links to my myspace...and I update that in much more detail, much more often.
| My blood is draining from this open wound
I am a whore. I've slept with other gods. I've chosen other things besides Christ. Lets call it by name. Lust. Pornography. Sexual immorality. These all cover the damned disease quite well.
It's not about my selfish desires so it will require transformation of body and mind.
Lord, I need a revamping of my whole being.....
| Today seemed like the appropriate day to start on my theme album for Draw the Moral.
I've got a few of the songs done already, and the story is complete.
I'm looking forward to how it turns out.
| SHARDS OF APRIL Just released their first EP!
It's called "Destroy your high places."
A few songs from the album should be posted on www.purevolume.com and www.soundclick.com later today.

| I can't take real accomplishment in the fact that I finally memorized the entire first chapter of James due to the fact that I could have had it done well over a year ago. But, nevertheless, praise the Lord...I memorized. Next, I'm starting on Phillipians chapter 1.
The fitting end to the year was getting mildly kicked out of the apartment I was in, and having to find somewhere else to live. The Lord provides, and I am thankful...even if it is a humble existance. I now live in a one bedroom apartment that was probably an architectural joke even in 1962 when it was made. It is nothing to be proud of...but it is provision...and it is only 250$ a month.
The new year was spent with good friends and some cheap wine. Conviniently, the Lord convicted me of the age old sin of pride towards my mother. I called her this weekend to apologize for the bitterness that has been developing towards her over these last 3 years. Simple commandments, like honor your father and mother, still have their application.
Even today at work, I am still learning patience with the haters of God that I call co-workers.
